Due to the ever increasing volume of critical care patients in the counties we serve and the rural locations we transport from, Century Ambulance Service, Inc. made the decision to add an additional layer of certification to all of our 24 hour paramedic requirements. In anticipation of future changes in state requirements and to ensure that we not only can provide appropriate levels of care for the more critical patients we transport but exceed all expectations in the abilities and knowledge of our crews Century has provided, at it's own expense, the Critical Care Emergency Transport - Program (CCEMT-P) at UMBC to all of our 24 hour paramedics and to almost all of our part time paramedics. read more
